If You’re Here,
Something Unthinkable Has Happened
The sudden, unexpected, or traumatic death of someone you love doesn't just break your heart, it changes everything. One moment, you’re busy living life. The next, nothing feels safe or recognizable.
You find yourself going through the motions, barely able to breathe, unsure how you will keep going. Some days you manage.
Other days even the simplest tasks feel overwhelming, and you don’t want to get out of bed.
Nights are long and unbearable, sleep does not come easily, and you’re constantly haunted with painful memories, disturbing thoughts, or feelings of guilt, remorse, or regret.
On the outside, you look “okay.”
But inside, you’re drowning in pain and silently screaming because no one sees the depths of your grief or truly understands. You hesitate to explain because there are no words big enough to describe your devastation.
This isn’t just grief.
It’s trauma and grief.
And everything has changed in your world.
Family and friends offer kind words or well-meaning advice, but most don’t truly understand what you're living through. Others avoid you, unsure of what to do or say.
Society and traditional grief support frequently fall short when it comes to traumatic loss.
They don’t know how time distorts. How meaning disappears.
They don’t know how to address your chaos, shock, overwhelming emotions, symptoms, grief, pain, and fear.
They don’t know how to support you in your chaos, shock, overwhelming emotions, grief, pain, or fear.
Despite the unthinkable
You are here...
Ready to manage one of the most catastrophic events of your life.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
You’ve found a safe place.

Course Content
The Traumatic Loss Companion Course follows the structure of The Traumatic Loss Workbook, with each module aligned to a corresponding chapter. However, this is not a simple recap. Dr. Levin guides you through each topic with clarity and compassion, bringing the material to life by visually demonstrating techniques and skills designed to help you regulate your emotions, manage overwhelm, and process the trauma of loss.
