Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist AMFT 99647
Supervised by Jennifer R. Levin, MFT, PhD, FT, MFC 93269
I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping you understand your relationship with transitions and unexpected changes; especially those experienced through loss of a loved one. I collaborate with individuals, couples and groups dealing with anxiety, trauma, grief and addiction as the result of life’s changes. Together we will identify and tap into your strengths and resources that have gotten you through similar transitions in the past. I specialize in the aftercare treatment of addiction, confronting exceptional challenges faced by Millennials, and tackling the toxic shame endured by members of the LGBTQ community. I am dedicated to creating a safe, culturally sensitive space for my clients that is sex-positive and LGBTQ Affirmative.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I completed my clinical training at Being Alive in West Hollywood, an LGBTQ Affirmative service organization, and currently volunteers at Miracle Mile Community Practice as a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. In addition to my work at Miracle Mile, I have served as a co-facilitator for the Teen Grief Program at Adventist Health-Glendale’s Beyond Loss Bereavement Program.
I am an active member of the Group Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles (GPALA), and a pre-licensed member of the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists (CAMFT), the American Psychological Association (APA), The American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA), and the Lesbian and Gay Psychotherapy Association (LAGPA).
