Supervised by Jennifer R. Levin, MFT, PhD, FT, MFC 93269
As a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I am eager to help you navigate through some of life’s obstacles. I am a strong believer that perception is reality and am interested in learning about my client’s world and values through their eyes. I currently work with individuals from various cultures battling stress, anxiety, depression, and/or grief. As a certified bereavement counselor, I hold great pride in supporting individuals when they are at their most vulnerable state. I currently facilitate bereavement Support Groups at Adventist Health Glendale Medical Center and provide one-on-one support to individuals living with grief, anxiety and depression. I also work closely with various professionals and provide guidance toward preventing burnout.
I obtained my bachelor’s in Psychology and Social behavior from University of California, Irvine and my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with Emphasis on Marriage Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Throughout my academic career, I have conducted research on cultural influences affecting narrative of autobiographies. I strongly believe culture has a great influence on our values and stressors. We will work together to deconstruct culture and societal discourses.
Under Dr. Levin, I co facilitate a spousal grief group and provide therapy to adolescents, teens, families and individuals.
